New in Toronto: Chef Doug McNish's Mythology
Last month, award winning chef Doug McNish opened the Mythology Diner in the Parkdale neighbourhood in a partnership with 5700 Inc. The new eatery touts itself as Toronto's premium vegan diner - From the team that brought you the Vegan Food & Drink Festival, Imperative and Doomie's.
Mythology is a great place to bring your omnivore friends who are curious or apprehensive about plant-based dining.
"I have veganized menu classics like the Reuben Sandwich, Cobb Salad, Salisbury Steak, Fish & Chips, Cinnamon Bun Pancakes, and more! You can expect the same commitment to organic ingredients and farmers as with all of my other cuisine," McNish promises.
The intimate 36-seat space boasts an elevated dining experience and showcases iconic art like Michelangelo's 'The Creation of Adam' veganized and a wall-to-ceiling Andy Warhol inspired vegan selfie room.
